Annual Events in Hamilton

What started as a monthly art crawl became one of Canada's great free street festivals: multiple music stages, art installations, fashion and food take over James Street North for a full weekend, drawing crowds in the hundreds of thousands.

Sixty-plus years of peach sundaes: Winona Park hosts one of Ontario's biggest volunteer-run festivals, with arts and crafts vendors, a midway, and every peach dessert imaginable at the peak of tender-fruit season.

Hamilton's long-running free music festival fills Gage Park with national headliners, artisan markets and food vendors every August — a tradition going back to the 1970s.

A true agricultural fair running since 1850: livestock shows, midway rides, demolition derby, tractor pulls and prize-winning pies — the fall-fair experience done at full scale on the Ancaster Fairgrounds.
